BINGHAMS : Coffee Stout (5.0%)
Coffee complements the dark malts and strangely mellows the flavours to provide a smooth drinking stout which smells as good as it tastes.
BINGHAMS : Ginger Doodle Stout (5.0%)
Dark stout with root ginger.
BLACKEDGE : Black Port (4.9%)
SIBA award winning; An exquisite dark porter, initially dry with chocolate roasted flavours with a sweet port like finish.
CELT EXPERIENCE : Native Storm (4.4%)
Characterised as a robust mid brown ale full of spicy and biscuit flavours, ‘Native Storm’ has a refreshing mouth feel complemented by a powerful presence of fresh hoppy aromas. The complex range of ingredients coupled with a long dry hop finish result in a delicious and moreish Welsh ale.
CITY OF CAMRIDGE : Atom Splitter (4.5%)
First in the Old Ales/Strong Milds category of the 25th Cambridge Beer Festival, Atom Splitter is a beer with plenty of character, bursting with First Gold hoppiness.
DOW BRIDGE : Pretorian Porter (5.0%)
Award winning 2011 Champion Winter ale. Dark, rich, full bodied seasonal porter. Slightly sweet with hoppy undertones.
FYNE ALES : Highlander (4.8%)
A fine strong ale with traditional character. Full of malt flavours with hops combining to give a citrus aroma.
HAPPY VALLEY : Black Magic (4.6%)
A rounded flavour of traditional stout and porter. The use of oatmeal dark roasted malt and roasted barley gives this ale the full “Meal in a Glass”. Has a full bodied hearty malt taste with a bitter finish. Ideal for days in front of a log fire.
HAWKSHEAD : Dry Stone Stout (4.5%)
A traditional dry oatmeal stout & as dark as Lakeland slate. Named in celebration of one of the defining features of The Lake District landscape - dry stone walls.
LEEDS : New Moon (4.3%)
A refreshing dark ale. Not to be mistaken for a stout, citrus hops give a clean and unusually refreshing finish.
MILESTONE : Olde English (4.9%)
Deep clear chestnut colour. Quite dry and toasty. Liquorice and chewy fruit on the palate.
NAYLORS : Velvet Mild (4.0%)
This new, very dark mild has a silky-smooth character, with aromas of chocolate and coffee, complementing the mellow, malty flavour, leading to a mild, light finish. Hops used: Celeia, Magnum.
NORTHSTAR : Endeavour (5.6%)
A dark beer with complex fruit flavours and notes of pepper culminating in full malt flavouring and a toffee and wine like finish.
OAKLEAF : Piston Porter (4.6%)
A dry rich Porter with initial chocolate and toffee flavours that finishes with a liquorice and dry roast taste, leaving a lingering bitterness.
PROSPECT : Nutty Slack (3.9%)
A delicious dark mild with hints of liquorice and a smooth malty taste. Winner of many awards, both regionally and nationally.
RUDGATE : Thor’s Hammer (4.5%)
Dark chestnut bursting with a full, rich roasted malt flavour.
SALTAIRE : Hazlenut Coffee (4.6%)
A smooth porter, with German malts and hops. Added fresh ground coffee and hazelnut flavours.
STABLES : Coppy Lane Stout (4.2%)
The aroma is of smoky malts. The taste has light roast flavours.
WALLS : Northallerton Dark (4.4%)
Brewed using chocolate malt and a combination of first gold and admiral hops to give an orangey aroma and taste.
WELBECK : Portland Black (4.5%)
A rich and smooth black beer - all the flavour of a porter without the weight. This beer is all about the malt character, brewed with a good dose of black malt, balanced with smooth chocolate malt and a hint of roasted barley for a bite.
