Next social trip .... Broughton Festival of Beer
Our next social jaunt is to the Lake District for the Broughton Festival of Beer on Saturday, 4th October 2014.
Unlike any other beer festival, the pubs in and around Broughton-in-Furness pull together to showcase their passion for real ales. In 2013, over 100 real ales were served across 9 pubs, including a pop-up bar - the Travellers Arms in Ulpha. Other participating pubs include the multi-award winning Manor Arms in Broughton-in-Furness and Prince of Wales at Foxfield, with it's own in-house brewery.
The coach will be leaving The Anvil in Wigan at 10am and picking up en-route in Standish. The coach will return to the Anvil around 9.30pm.
A £5 non-returnable deposit is required to secure your place on this trip. CAMRA Members, and their guests, have until 17th September to reserve their places on this trip when any remaining places will go on 'open sale'.
